I understand your frustration, but put yourself in their shoes. What are you going to say? Yes, they should answer with their actions, but when they don't, they still have to answer the reporter's questions afterward
His absence is felt immensely. Several defensemen are really struggling. From what Mez has been saying,he still seems a ways away. But with the team now facing elimination, he might push the envelope more. We shall see.
They need to be better all over the ice. Laviolette's system is about pursuing the puck. They just have not done enough of it in this series. When they have the puck, the Devils are not giving them much time to make plays. Thus, they need to simplify and get the puck in and go work to get it back
He should not risk further injury. You are absolutely right. and his impact on the series at this point would be difficult to gauge because he hasn'tplayed in solong. The Flyers do need some help on the blueline though. The Devils are exposing some of the defensemen on the forecheck
No. I like Bob...but Bryz has been pretty darn good in the last three games. He is not to blame
The Devils sat back some in the third but its not like the Flyers had them bottled up. There is very little to take from tonight;'s game and be positive about except the play of Bryzgalov
There are some guys with some injuries for sure. We will find out about them when the season ends. But the Devils have some guys banged up too. Its that way throughout the league
Its dropping rapidly. Down to a 3.
It could if they start well early. But the difference between these two teams the last three games has been larger than buildingatmosphere can fix. The Flyers will have to make some adjustments, starting with their intensity
Easy now........as ugly as the last three games have been, there has also been a lot of postives this season. So don't just jump ship
THey showed some passion and at times that turned to frustration. but at least those two showed some desperation. More of it is needed from the entire team. If more players were showing that intensity, then maybe there wouldn't be quite as much frustration. If that makes any sense
There were puck battles........but clearly not enough won by the Flyers
Please get in touch with Margaret. She needs some of your positive energy. ;-)
It is uncanny. The first goal syndrome. Makes no sense
They aren't kept by the NHL. They would be ugly to say the least
He has played well, but he has to conceal his frustration toward teammates better on the ice. His body language and gestures after goals are scored get noticed. There were plenty of times this season when his teammates bailed him out. He needs to remember that.
Again, though, as stated in my CSNPhilly.com article, Bryz has been good in this series. He is not the reason the team trails. It seems obvious, but I still see others who indicate otherwise.
Goalies should never show up their teammates. Not sure that he did, but his body language after a couple of goals came very close. Again, they bailed him out plenty during this season.
Alright....the show is over folks. I'll be back Tuesday for Game 5 Pregame. Let's see if this team can dig down and show us something. Thanks for the questions and comments.......Chat with you Tuesday
